Join us in the city of love, for a fantastic weekend break of superb accommodation, fabulous food and perfect company!
Experience Venice in style by immersing yourself in luxury. Stay in a 5 star hotel, take a gondola trip and have a relaxing massage - just some of the ingredients in this 'once in a lifetime' romantic Venetian break.
This is a private experience - we don't offer this experience for groups, so it will be just you and your special person!
Subject to availability, this Venetian break can also be combined with other destinations, such as Verona or Rome. Additionally it may be possible to upgrade travel in one (or both) directions on the exceptional Venice Simplon-Orient-Express.
Fly to Venice and take your private watertaxi transfer along the Grand Canal to the Hotel Metropole, your 5 star hotel.
Start your Venice Romantic Weekend away by enjoying your Sunset Gondola Tour; marvelling at the Venetian architecture, while immersing yourself in the full romance of this beautiful city.
Rest of day at leisure.
This morning head to St Mark's Square and use your Venice St Mark's Pass Card. This card provides free access to the Doges Palace and St Mark's Basilica, along with beating the queues. Enjoy visiting the famous tapestries in the map room showing the rule of the Venetian Empire, along with the portraits of previous Doges.
Whilst you enjoy some time relaxing, there's also plenty of other sights to see around the island city. Check out what Time Out magazine describes as 20 great things to do in Venice. We whole heartedly recommend trying the Gelato!
This evening sample a tantalising tasting menu prepared by the Michelin Starred Chef at The Met Restaurant, located within Hotel Metropole.
This morning join the boat for your 4hr tour around Murano, Burano and Torcello.
Begin this tour sailing past the 16th century Benedectine church; San Giorgio Maggiore and Lido, before arriving at Murano. Murano is known for its glass manufacturing and the tour includes a visit to one of the factories.
Travel onwards to Burano, an archipelago of four islands, and sample the lace, which Burano is famous for. As well as this, Burano is known as the island of the brightly coloured fishermen's houses.
After a short sail from Burano, finish the tour on Torcello, visiting the cathedral and church on this quieter island. Only the cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta with its fantastic mosaics and the church of Santa Fosca remain in their full glory.
Transfer back to Venice, and rest of day at leisure.

A 5 star hotel that seduces, with Suites that simply thrill. A stunning collection of antiques on display like in a museum, and a restaurant that surprises for its creative cuisine awarded with a Michelin Star.
The resulting mood is incomparable. After all, here nothing happens by chance.
