Three fabulous destinations make up this 7 night/8 day safari experience through the heart of Botswana's wildlife reserves.
Ideal as something of an 'introduction to safari', you will experience a range of activities whilst at the various camps and lodges, including 4x4 game drives, mokoro (hollowed-out canoes) trips, bush walks and Sundowners on the Chobe River.
Your international flights are included in the package shown - with departures from London Heathrow via Johannesburg. Flights generally depart late afternoon from the UK, arriving around lunchtime locally. The itinerary excludes the flight portion of your experience, starting from your local arrival.
Day 1: From Maun, take a short scenic flight by light aircraft to Pom Pom Camp, a jewel in the crown of the Okavanga Delta. The camp boasts a permanent lagoon inhabited by grunting hippos - the sound of Africa outside your tent! After relaxing in camp, an afternoon game drive will reveal further delights of the delta with its palm-fringed islands and varied wildlife.
Day 2: Early morning and afternoon game drives and mokoro trips provide fantastic opportunities for seeing numerous different game species as well as amazing, colourful, birdlife. When in camp, relax by the swimming pool and enjoy delicious food prepared by the camp's chef.
Day 3 & 4: A short scenic flight takes you Moremi Crossing on day 3, an eco-friendly camp located on the southern point of Chief's Island. Activities here include half or full day mokoro trips, game and bird walks, sunset motorboat cruises or, by arrangement, wilderness camping.
Day 5: Take a light aircraft flight to Chobe Safari Lodge to spend the next 3 nights on the banks of the Chobe River. This spacious lodge offers its guests a wide choice of activities.
Day 6 & 7: Game drives in to Chobe National Park will reveal the abundent elephant and other game species that call this home. Boat cruises on the Chobe River allow for up-close encounters with hippos, crocodiles and a wealth of water birds. Tigerfish fishing is also an exciting activity. A guided tour to Victoria Falls can also be arranged.
Day 8: Your safari ends at Kasane, from where you start your return journey to the UK.

Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River and shares a border with Chobe National Park. Right on our doorstep is the meeting of four African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Chobe Safari Lodge therefore offers an excellent getaway location to Chobe, Victoria Falls or Caprivi.
Close proximity to Victoria Falls International Airport, Livingstone International Airport and Kasane International Airport makes Chobe Safari Lodge easily accessible, with daily road transfers or charter flights connecting to all these airports.
The lodge has been recently renovated; matching a magical lodge experience to the spectacular game viewing.
The newest additions to Chobe are the 46 safari rooms. Individually decorated, they offer every comfort. Each safari room affords our guests the luxury of air-conditioning, luxurious en-suite bath and shower facilities, as well as satellite TV, and telephone. The Safari rooms enjoy expansive lawns which form the banks of the Chobe river. Each room has its own patio that gives one the privacy of enjoying views of the river from the comfort of your own room. The rooms are also in close proximity to the main complex.
The north east facing luxurious twin-bed river rooms are air-conditioned and offer the convenience of phone, TV and large en-suite bathrooms. Family rooms include two double beds. Our wing of river rooms are attached to the main complex via down stairs corridor or upstairs viewing deck.
The river room complex also has it's own riverside garden where guests often take time to photograph the resident monkeys and mongoose. Both our upstairs and downstairs units also enjoy their own private patios.
One of Chobe Safari Lodges original accommodation types, the traditional thatched rondavels are independently positioned, with ceiling fans and en-suite bathrooms. These detached units are positioned close to the river in the lodge gardens.
The rondavels are positioned to the west of the main complex and are also a very short walk to the main complex.
